Job description

We are on the lookout for innovative and insightful individuals to join our dedicated team as a Psychologist in Preston, Lancashire. This part-time role (22.2 hours per week) is based at Bridgeway School. While primarily part-time, we are open to full-time applications where you would have the opportunity to expand your impact across both Bridgeway School and Westmorland School. We offer a rewarding salary in the range of £52,994 to £62,192 annually. What you will do:

  1. Work collaboratively within our multi-disciplinary team to support tailored educational and residential environments.
  2. Provide therapeutic support and interventions based on thorough clinical assessments and formulations.
  3. Deliver consultation, workshops, and training to educational and residential teams to ensure clinically informed support strategies.
  4. Engage in the holistic development of our young people, addressing a range of needs such as developmental trauma and neuro-developmental conditions.
  5. Support team dynamics, ensuring the best practice across specialised environments.

We are seeking individuals who are:

  1. Qualified and HCPC registered in Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychology.
  2. Skilled in assessing and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to children and young people.
