Job description

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Psychologist to work in an exceptional mental health service based in the Hook, Hampshire area. This role offers the chance to work for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

Role Overview

The service aims to support patients through community-based activities as part of a comprehensive treatment programme, preparing them for discharge to community placements.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Psychologist registered with HCPC.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Respond promptly to referrals, conducting assessments to develop effective therapy plans using appropriate treatments and interventions.
  2. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring activities meet client needs and align with their therapy plans.
  3. Manage an assigned caseload within agreed timescales, maintaining regular communication with clients and colleagues.
  4. Lead and coordinate with professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and assisting with data analysis for research and audits.
  5. Maintain accurate records, including case notes, reports, and clinical documentation, and share relevant information during MDT meetings.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Experience working with complex clients.
  • Ability to deliver high-level interventions for complex service users.
  • Training in Clinical Supervision.
  • Stay updated with current developments in psychology practice.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £48,250 - £58,250 per annum, DOE. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include:
