Compass Associates seeks a Head of Therapeutic Services to lead and develop psychological provision across Northern England and Scotland. This home-based role requires strategic vision and clinical leadership to drive trauma-informed care in residential and education settings.
You will report to the CEO, shaping service delivery, mentoring therapeutic staff, and embedding evidence-based practice across a large portfolio of services while travelling as needed.
Compass Associates are exclusively working with an established and growing provider of specialist residential care and education for children and young people, to recruit a Head of Therapeutic Services to lead and further develop their psychological and therapeutic provision across Northern England and Scotland.
The organisation supports children and young people with complex backgrounds and needs, including developmental trauma, child sexual exploitation, attachment difficulties, autism, ADHD and complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
Operating across more than 50 specialist residential homes and several specialist schools, they have an established internal therapeutic team and are now looking for an experienced clinical leader to provide strategic direction across their therapeutic services.
Reporting directly into the CEO, this is a senior strategic role with responsibility for overseeing the continued development and implementation of the organisation’s psychological and therapeutic services, ensuring a consistent, evidence-based and trauma-informed approach across both residential care and education.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical leader to take ownership of an established therapeutic service while having genuine scope to shape its future direction, influence organisational strategy and further embed psychologically informed practice across a large portfolio of children’s residential and education services.
We are looking for an experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist who combines a strong background in therapeutic work with children and young people with the ability to operate at a senior, strategic level.
