Job description
Overview

We are recruiting a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Team Lead to join our Talking Therapies for Anxiety & Depression (TTAD) service. The main focus of this role will be supporting Trainee PWPs within Health in Mind, working in the Eastbourne area of East Sussex.

Health in Mind is a TTAD service that offers a full range of TTAD compliant therapies and roles. The service supports people with mild to moderate anxiety disorders and depression.

The PWP Team Lead role offers a development opportunity for experienced qualified PWPs to expand their skills in management and service development. This is a permanent, full-time post (37.5 hrs per week) with flexibility for remote and home working discussions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and management for the Step 2 PWP Clinical team, promoting the delivery of Step 2 interventions.
  • Provide line management, clinical supervision, meta supervision and case management for Senior PWPs, PWPs and Trainee PWPs.
  • Manage and support the recruitment of PWP trainees.
  • Provide CBT-based guided self-help to clients.
Requirements

To apply you will need:

  • A postgraduate certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies.
  • Registration as a PWP with the BPS or BABCP.
  • Extensive experience delivering PWP interventions within a TTAD service.
  • Significant experience of providing case management and clinical supervision, with a recognised NHS Talking Therapies supervision qualification.
  • Line management experience and excellent team skills.
  • Experience of offering telephone, virtual and face-to-face treatment.
