Overview

Job title: PWP (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner) at Vita Health Group. Location: Basildon/Remote. Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per year. Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Full-time, Part-time, Hybrid/Remote. Date posted: 25 September 2025. The role supports NHS Talking Therapies services for clients aged 16+ across Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay & Wickford.

Job responsibilities

Using clinical expertise, assess suitability of new referrals through telephone assessments and provide short-term, low-intensity interventions via telephone, online webinars, and computerised CBT (CCBT). Where needed, work closely with colleagues at Steps 3 and 4, and external services, to support safe onward referrals and step ups, while maintaining patient dignity, confidentiality and inclusivity.

• A Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Low Intensity Interventions (Adults).
• BABCP or BPS registration or pending registration (discussion available before interview).
• Experience of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem.
• An awareness of and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
