Job description
Overview

Are you ready to bring your passion, personality, creativity, and clinical expertise to a role that makes a real difference? Vita Health Group is looking for a Primary Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to champion patient care, clinical excellence, and service development within our NHS Talking Therapies services.

Getting to know Us

Hello! We are VitaMinds Basildon & Brentwood – the lead provider of NHS Talking Therapies services in the area, providing mental health support to clients aged 16+ across Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay & Wickford. We are proud of the work we do at Step 2 and the life-changing impact of our practice every day. We emphasise staff wellbeing, a flexible and creative approach to work, and a culture of openness and support. We focus on quality supervision, CPD, and encouraging PWPs to take on leadership roles and training opportunities.

Making People Better

As a qualified PWP, you have a vital role in the service we provide to our clients. You will assess the suitability of new referrals through telephone assessments and provide short-term, low-intensity interventions via telephone, online webinars, and computerised CBT (CCBT). When needed, you will collaborate with colleagues at Steps 3 and 4 and external services to support safe onward referrals and step-ups, while upholding patient dignity, confidentiality, and inclusivity.

Getting to know You

Each PWP brings unique skills, background, and experiences to practice. Alongside this, you must have:

  • We welcome applications from newly qualified PWPs and encourage applicants who can work locally within Basildon and Brentwood in a hybrid role.
  • For those working within the practice area, the HCAS Fringe Supplement is available.
  • We will consider applications from PWPs who wish to work remotely, without the HCAS Fringe Supplement.

If this sounds like the right fit, we look forward to welcoming you to the team!
