An established industry player in mental health services is seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join their dynamic team. This role involves delivering high volume, low intensity CBT interventions for individuals facing common mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Low Intensity Psychological interventions and be a Registered PWP or in the process of registration. Please note qualification from PWP (IAPT) Training Course or equivalent, i.e., Qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker with significant and relevant Primary Care experience is essential to this post.

Talking Therapies Oldham are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed qualified PWP to join their highly successful and motivated team. For the role, you must have a Diploma/Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological interventions in order to provide high volume, low intensity CBT interventions for people with common mental health problems. Assessments and interventions may be delivered face to face, via the telephone, or in groups. Good written and communication skills need to be of a high standard along with the ability to work flexibly, including flexible working from home.
Talking Therapies Oldham is part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Programme and offers assessment and treatment for people referred via their GP or through a self-referral pathway, with common mental health problems. The service works with adults aged 16 and above, from various cultural backgrounds.
The service is made up of a multidisciplinary team, including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Counsellors, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Primary Care Mental Health Nurses, Psychologists, and Admin staff.
