This is a Permanent, 37.5 Total Hours per Week vacancy that will close in 11 days at 23:59 BST.
We are seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join an integrated mental health team at HMP Full Sutton.
Rethink Mental Illness collaborates with Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to provide an integrated stepped care mental health service within the prison.
The team comprises highly skilled professionals working collaboratively to deliver high-quality care for individuals with mental health needs within the prison. For Rethink Mental Illness employees, work hours are typically from 0800 to 1600, Monday to Friday.
You will be part of an integrated care mental health team providing Step 1 interventions, supporting the mental health of the prison population. Responsibilities include fostering professional relationships based on trust and non-judgment, providing information, support, signposting, facilitating group activities, developing peer mentors, and engaging service users. You will collaborate with team members to deliver mental health support during incarceration and assist with planning for release into the community.
