Psychiatric Nurse - RMN

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in Southgate, North London. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

The hospital is a private facility specializing in the treatment of mental health issues. It boasts a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, including consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current, active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, your key duties include:

1. Providing a high standard of care to individuals with learning disabilities and personality disorders.
2. Developing therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
3. Following all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others, and promoting ethical practice.
4. Contributing to patient assessments, developing care plans collaboratively, and monitoring patient progress.
5. Taking personal and shared responsibility for maintaining quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, especially in a forensic setting.
6. Working as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for a designated group of patients within the clinical governance framework.

The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for the role:

1. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
