The hospital is a private facility specializing in the treatment of mental health issues. It boasts a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, including consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current, active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse, your key duties include:
- Providing a high standard of care to individuals with learning disabilities and personality disorders.
- Developing therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
- Following all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others, and promoting ethical practice.
- Contributing to patient assessments, developing care plans collaboratively, and monitoring patient progress.
- Taking personal and shared responsibility for maintaining quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, especially in a forensic setting.
- Working as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for a designated group of patients within the clinical governance framework.
The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
