Job Overview

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Older Person's Mental Health Nurse to join the Psychiatric Liaison service based in Wrexham. The aim of the post is to support improved service provision and facilitate earlier discharge home from hospital wards and the Emergency Department. The role involves liaising with other professionals and family members.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support various aspects of Older Adult patient care, focusing on the assessment and treatment of patients' mental health during their stay at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Full induction and opportunities for career development will be provided. Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
