Job description

Job title: PCV Technician

Location: Hedingham Buses, Unit 6-7 Stephenson Road, Clacton on Sea, CO15 4XA

Hours: Early and late shift rotating, any 5 out of 7 days

Reporting to: Engineering Manager.

As a PCV Mechanical Engineer you will service, maintain and repair our fleet, in a safe, efficient and economical manner to the required legal, regulatory and company standards.

PCV Technician Engineer Duties:
  1. Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle types
  2. Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment
  3. MOT preparation
  4. Repair all vehicles as required to company and DVSA standards
  5. Maintain and complete vehicle and Company documentation
  6. Liaising with the parts department to attain correct parts
  7. Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
PCV Technician Engineer Skills:
  1. Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience working in the automotive industry.
  3. PCV Licence or willing to work towards acquiring this.
