Job summary

A leading transportation company in the UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical professional with a background in REME, HGV, or PSV roles. This day-based position offers a chance to work on servicing, repairs, and maintenance of the fleet with opportunities to advance into more senior roles. Candidates should hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification and have experience in the electro-mechanical field. Good overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience in REME, HGV, or PSV roles.
• Ability to perform servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Knowledge of working with PSV vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing, repairs, and maintenance of the fleet.
• Perform MOT testing onsite.

Are you experienced in Mechanical roles from a REME, HGV, or PSV background and seeking an excellent next step in your career with one of the nation's largest coach and bus companies?

Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to expand their friendly and long-standing team with new members on a day basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, repairs, and maintenance of the fleet. There will also be a requirement to perform MOT testing on site.

This position is suitable for candidates who already have experience as a PSV Mechanic or have worked in REME, HGV, or LGV roles and are looking to be trained on PSV vehicles, with good overtime opportunities.

The person:

• REME/LGV/HGV/PSV background
• Holds an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification

The role:

• Monday - Friday, day shifts
• Servicing, repairs, and inspections
• Electro-mechanical work on the full PSV fleet
