Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on buses, PSVs, vehicles and engineering equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Complete repairs, modifications and upgrades in line with DVSA and safety standards.
• Support fleet reliability through fault finding and technical problem solving.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals; maintain records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with workshop teams and other departments.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and apprentices when required.
