• Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs.
• Working both in a depot and on the road for breakdowns.
• Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance.

• Overtime Rate: £20.94 per hour

About the Role:

Venatu Recruitment Group is partnering with our client in the Mansfield area to recruit a PSV Mechanic/Fitter on a permanent basis. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Shift Fitter to join our client in Skegness.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance and repair of PSV vehicles

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs

• Working in both a depot environment and responding to breakdowns on the road

• Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance

• Supporting the transition to hybrid and electric vehicle technologies

• 28 days holiday per year
• Free travel for you and a companion
• Career development opportunities including training in hybrid and electric vehicles

Shift Pattern:

• Working 5 out of 7 days
• Various start times

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in vehicle maintenance (bus, HGV/LGV, truck, automotive, plant, rail, or farm machinery)
• Ideally qualified to one of the following:
• PCV or HGV City & Guilds
• BTEC
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV
• OR Time Served
