In this leadership role, you will oversee maintenance, and optimization of our bus fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. You will lead a team of engineers, driving innovation, improving vehicle performance, and implementing best practices to enhance service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive engineering performance to achieve service targets and objectives.
• Manage engineering P&L, budget, and forecasting, ensuring financial goals are met.
• Oversee workshop operations, including shift scheduling and payroll management.
• Ensure fleet maintenance, reliability, and regulatory compliance are consistently maintained.
• Supervise stores activities, including warranty management and inventory performance metrics.
• Provide technical training and ensure ongoing audit compliance.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on performance and outcomes.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in PSV or fleet Maintenance and repair procedures
• A valid UK driving licence
• Strong understanding of bus mechanical systems, electrical systems and advanced technologies.
• Proficiency in managing vehicle diagnostics, repairs and modifications
