PSV Engineering Trainer (Full Training Provided) – Perivale / Wembley

The role

Deliver Bus & Coach Mech/Elec apprenticeship training. Work from a Metroline depot in Perivale, near Wembley. Deliver a mixture of classroom theory and practical workshop sessions. Support apprentices with modern vehicle systems, diagnostics, electrical principles, and safety standards. Work closely with a major employer partner in a satellite delivery environment. Bring technical content to life through practical examples, demonstration, and learner engagement. Full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. Full training provided, including support towards Level 3 AET. Long-term opportunity within a growing Automotive apprenticeship provider.

The person

• Strong Bus & Coach, PSV, or Heavy Vehicle background.
• Strong electrical knowledge essential.
• Level 3 qualification required.
• Recent Bus & Coach industry experience highly desirable.
• Confident with modern vehicle systems, SRS, diagnostics, safety standards, and electrical integration.
• Teaching experience desirable but not essential.
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Adaptable, resilient, confident, and comfortable working closely with a major employer partner.
• Genuine passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing apprentices.
