An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PSV Electrician / Electrically biased Mech/Elec to join our Engineering Team at our Walkergate Depot in Newcastle upon Tyne.

At Stagecoach North East, we operate over 400 vehicles connecting passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside. Our depot at Walkergate is a purpose-built facility from where we operate 103 buses and coaches.

The successful candidate will play a key role within our maintenance team to ensure our vehicles are maintained and repaired, keeping them available, roadworthy, and reliable for our customers at all times.

This is a shift-based role, with shifts any 5 days over 7, to be discussed at interview.

A PCV license is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential.

Salary potential: £36.2k - £42.2k per year, with some overtime and ongoing pay increases currently being negotiated.
