Job Title: PSI Grade E - Operation Aquarium

Location: Admiral Street Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.5 hours per week Umbrella Rate: £22.45 per hour Pay-E : £16.94

Service Care Solutions is seeking a Police Staff Investigator (PSI) to join Operation Aquarium at Admiral Street. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investigator to be part of a high-profile and sensitive operation, ensuring the highest standards in investigative processes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and review cases, ensuring quality assurance across investigative processes.
Produce detailed letters and reports at a professional standard.
Effectively plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Conduct criminal investigations, including interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of legislation and procedures related to exhibits, disclosure, and investigative responsibilities.
Collaborate within a small team with limited supervision.Essential Requirements:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability in writing detailed investigative reports.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to undertake relevant training.
Ability to work with discretion on sensitive matters.Desirable Experience:

Previous experience in complex crime investigations.
Familiarity with file management and liaison with CPS, legal representatives, and other agencies.
Knowledge of disclosure procedures, exhibits, telecommunications, and external inquiries.
PEACE trained or knowledge of Major Incident Room procedures.Personal Attributes:
