Those Huge Small Victories

Our teachers are fulfilled by making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, celebrating the little things. While there are ups and downs, and sitting through a lesson can be a big win for some, we call these "huge small victories" because they make a big difference.

Get out what you put in

You’ll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll help them learn, develop, and build self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, but the rewards of these small victories will make you proud.

It can be challenging, but positive progress makes it worthwhile. As a Teacher at Witherslack Group, you’ll receive support from psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapists. Our colleagues are experts, our environments are well-resourced, and we’ll support your career development.

One of the best environments in SEND

Luxborough Court School is a new, purpose-built school for 150 pupils aged 5–19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Facilities include a large sports hall, a bespoke 6th form suite, therapeutic spaces, extensive outdoor areas, and separate playgrounds with a multi-use games area.

The school is accessible via Chigwell Station (less than a mile away) with Central Line services, and near the M11 at Junction 4.

What we do for you

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Training: Full induction and on-the-job training
  • Holidays: Full school holidays off
  • Progression: Opportunities for promotion within the group
  • Flexible benefits: Options to customize benefits like life insurance
  • Pensions: Various options including Teachers’ Pension and TPS alternatives
  • Wellbeing: Support tools and employee assistance
  • Medical cover: Reimbursements for opticians, dentists, and discounts
  • Facilities: Modern working environments
  • Referral bonus: £1,000 for each successful referral
Bring your whole-self to work

Our diverse workforce reflects the backgrounds of our students. To connect with pupils, you should have:

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Passion for PSHE and its impact
  • Ability to build relationships with pupils
  • Previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status
