We are searching for an experienced Prudential Senior Consultant to make an impact at RSM UK. Our Consulting team, which includes Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing, provides client-centric solutions to the middle market and beyond, generating nearly £200m revenue with over 1,700 staff.

The Prudential Team within Risk Assurance specializes in providing prudential regulatory advice to financial services clients, supporting them in maintaining financial resources and managing risks per regulatory and commercial standards. Our clients range from niche challengers to established financial institutions in the UK and internationally.

As a Senior Consultant, you will deliver advisory and internal audit services, conduct technical research, manage client relationships, and support business development activities, following RSM’s methodologies and risk management practices.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality client work, including prudential risk reviews and internal audits
• Supporting engagement managers with client delivery
• Engaging with stakeholders and managing client interviews and document reviews
• Developing solutions, drafting reports, and presenting recommendations
• Researching and communicating regulatory rules
• Managing aspects of the client engagement lifecycle, including budgets and resourcing
• Assisting in tender proposals and business development
• Contributing to market research, proposition development, and thought leadership activities

Ideal candidate profile:

• Experience in banking, wealth and asset management, or insurance sectors
• Strong knowledge of prudential risk issues, regulations, and industry practices
• Relevant experience in professional services or regulated financial institutions
• Degree or equivalent education, with professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA, FRM) or working towards them
