We are searching for an experienced Prudential Senior Consultant to join RSM UK.

Our Consulting team, with over 1,700 people and nearly £200m revenue, provides client-centric solutions across various sectors, including Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing. We focus on six key solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic services, and restructuring, tailored to help clients achieve strategic goals and foster career development.

The Prudential Team within Risk Assurance specializes in providing prudential regulatory advice to financial sector clients, supporting them in maintaining adequate financial resources and managing risks per regulatory and commercial objectives. Our client base ranges from niche challengers to established financial institutions across the UK and internationally.

As a Senior Consultant, you will deliver advisory and internal audit services, conduct technical research, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development, all aligned with RSM’s methodologies and risk management standards.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality client work, including reviews of prudential risk matters
  • Supporting engagement managers with day-to-day activities
  • Engaging with stakeholders effectively
  • Reviewing documents, models, and conducting gap analyses against regulatory standards
  • Conducting client interviews and process reviews
  • Developing solutions and drafting detailed reports
  • Presenting recommendations to clients
  • Researching and communicating regulatory rules
  • Managing engagement lifecycle aspects like budgets and resourcing
  • Assisting in tender and proposal development
  • Participating in market research, proposition design, and thought leadership activities

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Experience in banking, wealth and asset management, or insurance sectors
  • Strong knowledge of prudential risk issues and regulations
  • Experience working in professional services or regulated financial institutions
  • Degree or equivalent experience; professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, FRM preferred
