Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Prudential Senior Consultant to join RSM UK. Consulting at RSM involves multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing, providing client-centric solutions for the middle market and beyond. Our consulting team is a key driver of the firm's growth, with over 1,700 professionals generating nearly £200m revenue.

The core solutions we offer include business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic services, and restructuring—tailored to help clients achieve strategic goals while empowering our team members to develop their careers.

The Prudential Team within Risk Assurance specializes in providing prudential regulatory advice and guidance to financial sector clients, helping them maintain financial adequacy and manage risks per regulatory and commercial standards. Our client base ranges from challenger firms to established institutions, with services offered in the UK and internationally.

As a Senior Consultant, you will deliver advisory and internal audit services, support technical research, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development, all aligned with RSM’s methodologies and risk management policies.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering high-quality client work, including technical reviews of prudential risks.
  • Supporting engagement managers with daily client engagement activities.
  • Conducting document reviews, gap analyses, and regulatory research.
  • Structuring client interviews and process assessments.
  • Developing solutions and preparing detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Presenting findings to clients.
  • Researching and communicating regulatory rules within the team and to clients.
  • Managing aspects of the client engagement lifecycle, including monitoring budgets and resources.
  • Contributing to tender and proposal development to attract new business.
  • Enhancing RSM’s brand through market research, proposition development, and thought leadership.

  • Strong knowledge of prudential risk issues, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Relevant experience in professional services or regulated financial institutions, including internal audit processes.
  • Degree or equivalent experience; professional qualifications like ACA, ACCA, CIA, FRM are a plus.
