Job Description:

My client is a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK, seeking a new member for their prudential risk team to work across their 1st and 2nd line risk functions. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key role in implementing their prudential risk framework to support clients.

The role offers flexibility for remote work but requires occasional visits to the London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.

As the business expands, they aim to strengthen their Prudential risk team to maintain their strong position with some of the UK's largest financial services firms. The ideal candidate will:

  • Understand Prudential Regulations to develop policies that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Be ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Be comfortable working between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense.
  • Have exposure to credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, and be familiar with ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
  • Build relationships with various business areas to ensure proper policy implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with senior management and operational staff to embed policies effectively.
  • Challenge users to ensure policies are adhered to regularly.
