Job Description:

My client is a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK looking for a new member for their prudential risk team to work across their 1st and 2nd line risk functions. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key part in rolling out their prudential risk framework and supporting clients along the way.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely but requires occasional visits to the London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.

As the business grows, they aim to build their Prudential risk team to maintain their strong position with some of the UK's largest financial services firms. I am seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Understanding of Prudential Regulations to write policies that meet regulatory requirements
  • ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualification
  • Comfort working between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense
  • Exposure to credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, and experience with ICAAP and ILAAP reporting
  • Ability to build relationships across business areas to ensure policy embedding
  • Capacity to work from the top down, collaborating with C-suite executives and business users to implement policies
  • Ability to challenge users to ensure policy adherence
