Job Description:

My client are a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK who are looking for a new member for their prudential risk team to work cross their 1st and 2nd line risk function. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk playing a key part in rolling out their prudential risk framework supporting clients along the way.

The role will offer flexibility to work remotely, but will require you to visit the London, Birmingham, or Manchester office on occasion.

As the business grows they are looking to build their Prudential risk team to help maintain their strong stance with some of the UK's largest financial services firm. Joining the firm at this time will bring some amazing challenges, and opportunities, as well as the opportunity to build key relationships and gain exposure across the organisation.

This role will really suit someone who is looking to challenge themselves, in a complexed business who can offer a great development opportunity.

I am looking to speak to people who can deliver :

  • You will be able understand Prudential Regulations in order to to write policy, and understand what goes in to a policy to ensure that it is meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Be ACCA /ACA or CIMA qualified
  • Be comfortable working between the 1st and 2nd line of defence
  • you must have exposure of either credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks and be able to look at ICAAP, ILAAP reporting for the organisation.
  • Be able to build relationships with all business areas to ensure policies are being embedded correctly.
  • You will be able to work from the top down, working closely with the C-suite , and also working with business users who are working to help implement policies.
  • you must be able to challenge users to ensure policies are regularly adhered to
