An educational staffing agency in Salford is looking for a resilient and compassionate Maths teacher to work with students facing learning barriers in a Pupil Referral Unit. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships with students, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Qualifications include Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience with SEMH students is preferred. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanence.
Are you ready for an exciting new opportunity? We are looking for a resilient, compassionate and qualified Maths teacher to work in one of our Pupil Referral Units in the Salford area. You would be working with children who have been excluded from or cannot access mainstream education due to behavioural, emotional and social challenges.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible maths lessons to small groups of secondary-aged pupils, many of whom have gaps in learning, low confidence, and complex needs. Your ability to build trust, remain calm under pressure, and adapt your teaching style will be key to success in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
