Provider Quality Support Officer
Fixed term contract - 37.00 hours per week.
Middlesbrough, UK
Salary: From £14.36 per hour

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a Provider Quality Support Officer on behalf of a client in the Middlesbrough area. You will work within the finance, strategic procurement, and commissioning department. This role is a fixed-term contract, ending in December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular service reviews in line with the Contract Monitoring Framework, including compliance visits and audit-based assessments.
  • Support the use of quality improvement methods involving service user feedback in monitoring activities.
  • Develop reporting systems to advise Commissioning Officers on contract and quality issues, keeping them informed of monitoring outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records to support planning and forward work programmes.
  • Engage with service providers to address key issues, monitor progress, and drive service improvements.
  • Investigate and help resolve complaints, including participation in Strategy Meetings related to service concerns.
What we're looking for:
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English is essential.
  • NVQ or equivalent in health and social care, along with experience in developing and implementing systems, is desirable.
  • Knowledge of local authority functions and statutory duties is advantageous but not essential.
