Job summary

Eldon Tool and Engineering Ltd is seeking a skilled individual for its Sheffield-based engineering operations. The role involves producing prototype products and fixtures to support development of new automotive components, with training offered for self-improvement.

Candidates should have toolroom experience, with capability in manual/CNC milling, turning and surface grinding, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Automotive interest is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a toolroom environment.
• Experience of manual/CNC milling, turning & surface grinding.
• CNC experience would be advantageous but not required.
• Ability to problem solve & come up with solutions.
• Good Team Player.
• To be motivated with a "can do" attitude.
• Have some automotive interest or understanding but not essential.

Responsibilities

• To produce prototype products for the development and testing of new innovative automotive products.
• To produce jigs and fixtures to aid production.
• Undertake any necessary training to help with self-development.
