We are looking for a Protection and Resilience Manager (m/f/d), based in Munich. We are also open to applications from other European locations such as Paris, Rotterdam, Madrid, or London.

Your Team

You will be part of a global team responsible for COO Operational Resilience and Core Applications, including Protection & Resilience, Information Security, Supplier Risk Management, and Core Applications.

The Impact You Will Have

This leadership role involves implementing and overseeing the Protection and Resilience framework across Allianz Commercial, working closely with the Agile operational resilience team as Product Owner. Key responsibilities include managing risks to locations, employees, and processes, overseeing Business Continuity, Physical Security, Crisis Management, and more, as well as regulatory reporting.

Specific Responsibilities

• Oversee Protection & Resilience functions and ensure their effectiveness.
• Align strategies and collaborate across domains and with stakeholders including the local Board of Management and Allianz Group.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate audits.
• Manage incident responses, crisis exercises, and threat assessments.
• Define change epics as the Protection & Resilience product owner within an Agile setup.

Qualifications and Experience

• Expertise in risk, crisis, or business continuity management.
• Experience responding to security incidents and crises.
• Proven leadership in large, complex organizations.
• Knowledge of Protection & Resilience standards (e.g., ISO).
• Experience working with senior executives and Boards.
• Incident management skills and third-party handling capabilities.
