Protection and Control (P&C) Commissioning Engineer, Leeds

We are seeking a Protection and Control (P&C) commissioning engineer to join our Power Networks team within our Net Zero Energy Business. This position can be home-based or based from one of our UK offices in Birmingham, Glasgow, Epsom, or Leeds, with site visits across the UK expected.

Your purpose:

• Oversee the installation and commissioning stages of projects, resolving technical issues at sites as part of our Power Networks team.
• Enjoy troubleshooting and have a proactive attitude to resolve issues.

Responsibilities may include:

• Commissioning protection and control aspects of various projects.
• Coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attending site visits, FAT, and SAT as required.

What you can bring:

• HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in commissioning P&C of substations in the UK (NG and/or SSE).
• Authorization such as BP141 or equivalent, or the ability to obtain it.
• Strong adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites.
• Right to work in the UK.
