Job summary

GCB Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Protection Advisor to join a growing financial services firm, delivering tailored protection advice and converting appointments into written business. You will write high-quality protection cases while delivering excellent customer service and building lasting client relationships.

The role is hybrid, Monday to Friday, with leads provided and an opportunity to self-generate from a large database.

Qualifications

• CeMAP or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Protection Advisor.
• CAS status.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent customer service and advice skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Self-motivated and commercially driven.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert protection advice tailored to client needs.
• Convert appointments into written business.
• Write high-quality protection business in line with client requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the advice process.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Utilise provided leads while identifying opportunities to self-generate.
