Job summary

Vitality in Stockport is recruiting a Protection Advisor for a hybrid role, 2 days in the Stockport office and 3 days based working from home. Training is up to 3 months in Stockport.

The basic salary is £30,000-£34,000 with an excellent bonus on top, tied to performance and customer outcomes. This role focuses on providing advice on Vitality Life products via telephone to personal and business customers, with ongoing support and development opportunities within Vitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services is required.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements.
• Financial services qualifications relevant to the role preferred.

Team - Protection ( D2C Life Department)

Hybrid role - 2 days a week in the Stockport office, 3 days based working from home. Training is up to 3 months in Stockport. Basic salary £30,000- £34,000 is dependent on experience of selling protection and qualifications, plus we offer an excellent bonus on top.

This is over the telephone and can be direct with personal customers and our business customers too. We offer ongoing support, coaching and we focus on your development in your Vitality career. Previous experience of working in Insurance sales is required.

What You Will You Do As a Protection Advisor

• Providing exceptional service and advice over the telephone to our customers
• Time management is key as we are fast paced, and we have lots of customer needs to meet
• Proactivity in maintaining your knowledge being a driver in your own performance, knowing we will support in every step
• Ensuring that FCA and internal regulatory standards for advice provision are met
• Quality of advice provided is a must with every fact find, making sure you have everything documented along with the analysis and outcomes. Every conversation is important

What You Need To Thrive

• Experience within Financial Services is a must
• Confident telephone manner
• Full understanding and knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the FCA
• Strong Customer orientation and engagement skills
• Highly motivated with a drive to deliver sales targets and outstanding customer outcomes
• A driven individual with committed to person development and progression
• Strong Organisation skills with the ability to manage personal time and focus to maximise productivity and results
• Financial services qualifications appropriate to the role, ideally CEMAP or R05
