Job description

Are you an experienced Protection Adviser looking for your next career move? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Protection Adviser to join an established in-office team based near Bromley.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary: GBP30,000
  • Bonus: 30% + 2.5x validation
  • Leads will be supplied by advisers in the office.

Role Overview:This is a full-time, office-based position where you'll work closely with clients referred by mortgage advisers, providing tailored advice on protection products that safeguard their financial well-being. You'll have the chance to thrive in a collaborative, professional environment, working with a team of like-minded individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person or telephone-based consultations to understand clients' needs.
  • Offer advice on a range of protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and family income benefit.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Manage a pipeline of leads, follow up on client inquiries, and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Collaborate with mortgage advisers and admin staff for smooth case progression.
  • Assist clients with policy applications, underwriting queries, and post-sale servicing.

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years of experience in protection or financial advice (office-based preferred).
  • A strong communicator with a client-first approach and excellent organisational skills.
  • Comfortable in a busy, sales-driven environment and self-motivated to hit targets.
  • Knowledge of protection products and underwriting processes.
  • CII R05, CeMAP, or similar qualifications are desirable but not essential.
