Job description

Job Title: Protection Adviser

Location: Remote (Must be UK Based and will require occasional travel to Colchester, Peterborough, or Wakefield offices)

Rewards: Basic salary of £25,000 plus commission OTE £45K - £50K

Hours: Mon-Fri, three early shifts 9am-6pm, two late shifts 11am-8pm

Our services include Mortgage Services, Part Exchange, and Assisted Move, working with most of the UK’s top 20 housebuilders.

Our teams and Advisers have extensive knowledge of mortgage products tailored to the new homes market and established relationships with key lenders. As part of our 2025 expansion, we are looking to appoint additional Protection Advisers, offering industry-leading salaries and excellent career development opportunities.

Protection Adviser Responsibilities

You will manage customers’ protection applications and needs, maintaining regular contact with clients and insurance providers, ensuring high levels of customer service.

As a Protection Adviser, you should have a proven track record in protection advice, with CeMAP 1 qualification preferred but not essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Main Purpose Of Job

  • Retain existing protection policies taken out by customers.
  • Minimise lost commission from cancellations.
  • Arrange suitable protection policies based on customer needs.
  • Proactively contact customers without protection arrangements to identify and fulfill needs.
