Prosecutions Lawyer - South Yorkshire

Salary: £42,650 - £46,780

Exceptional career opportunity with outstanding training and development for individuals interested in a career in Prosecutions. We are partnering with a public body offering nationwide opportunities for Solicitors or Barristers. Job Ref: 9628

Responsibilities
  1. After an initial training period, spend 60-80% of your time in court prosecuting a wide range of offences, utilizing your varied skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  2. Remaining time will be dedicated to case preparation.
  3. Participate in induction training, bespoke modules, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching to facilitate your transition into a Prosecutions Lawyer role.
Requirements
  • Genuine interest in criminal prosecutions.
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales.
  • Experience in contentious law is preferred but not essential; applicants from all disciplines with a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong decision-making skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
