About the job

Working in a small team as a Prosecutions Administration Clerk, you will promptly and efficiently deal with customer queries and carry out the administrative tasks and processes related to Penalty Fare Notices, Unpaid Fares Notices and Prosecution Reports. Often first contact with our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting customer queries relating to prosecutions cases through promptly answering emails.
  • Producing and processing paperwork, penalty fares, unpaid fares notices, prosecutions settlements as directed by the Prosecutions and Fraud Manager or nominated deputy.
  • Collate relevant documentation and maintain relevant systems related to prosecutions cases as required.
  • Ensure all information and paperwork is collated/stored and recorded/stored in line with GDPR.
  • Escalate complex cases to a Prosecutions Case Officer for further enquiry.
  • Undertake any specific tasks as directed by the Prosecutions and Fraud Manager or nominated deputy.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft packages/ Customer service
Qualifications (Desirable)
  • GCSE grade 4 /C or above in English and Maths or Level 2 functional skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and flexible in line with business needs.
  • Able to use initiative and work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn new systems.
About the location

Overline House is conveniently situated overlooking Southampton Central Station and is easily accessible by public transport. The station is very local to West Quay, a hub for retailers and restaurants, and provides an excellent link between London, Coastal areas and the Isle of Wight.

Working pattern

Working an average of 37 hours per week over 5 days
