Job summary

Eos Space Technology Ltd in the UK is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to join our expanding engineering team on a permanent basis. You will own test campaigns, analyze data, and ensure propulsion systems perform reliably in representative environments, working primarily in our Surrey lab with hybrid onsite arrangements.

As an early hire, you will shape testing operations, contribute to design reviews, and collaborate with a small team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation.
• Hands-on hardware integration and test campaign execution.
• Ability to analyze test data and generate technical reports.
• Knowledge of safe laboratory practices and aerospace standards (ECSS preferred).
• Experience with vacuum testing of propulsion hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, setup, and execution of electric propulsion test campaigns in vacuum environments.
• Configure and operate test instrumentation including thermocouples, flow meters, and thrust systems.
• Build, assemble, and integrate propulsion hardware for test readiness.
• Analyze test telemetry and provide feedback to the design team.
• Generate comprehensive test reports documenting methodology, results, and recommendations.
• Develop and refine test procedures to improve efficiency and repeatability.
• Support transition of technology from development to flight readiness.
