Job summary

Expert Employment represents a client in the space industry focused on rockets and propulsion materials. The role involves supporting Aerospace Propulsion programs, performing assembly and component analysis across structural, ballistic, and thermal domains.

You will assist in bid and proposal work, create IRAD plans and drive continuous improvement, and participate in Change Review Board and Phase Gate reviews. Security clearance will be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field.
  • 5 to 12 years of engineering experience; Aerospace or Defence industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of closed form and finite element analysis.
  • Knowledge of solid modelling and detail drawing creation.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for supporting Aerospace Propulsion programs.
  • Conduct assembly and component analysis structural, ballistic, thermal to support design.
  • Support bid and proposal preparation including: scope of work, technical volume, schedules, and budgets.
  • Support creation of detailed IRAD plans and support continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in Change Review Board meetings by preparing and presenting TDP process changes
  • Participate in Phase Gate Review meets for development programs
  • Candidates will be put forward for Security Clearance (SC) once the job has been accepted.
