The Propositions Manager within FNZ is a key role that helps define the propositional strategy for our customers, providing leadership and expertise in the following areas:
- Defining the overall propositional strategy for the region or area they are responsible for and being the accountable leader for the delivery of this strategy.
- Providing propositional assistance & guidance to our customers, working alongside customers to develop ongoing proposition roadmaps.
- Identifying future FNZ roadmap items in line with customer needs and market trends.
- Collating, interpreting, and sharing market competitor analysis, using market knowledge to guide FNZ internally and our customers.
- Increasing FNZ market share by working closely with sales and strategic relationship teams to develop future sales strategies for new and existing customers.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Define the overall propositional strategy across all market channels of the region or area of responsibility, obtaining regional CEO and board approval.
- Assess customer needs and desires by evaluating their current propositions, market trends, competitors, and environmental factors.
- Engage with FNZ customers to demonstrate new products and secure commitments for upcoming releases.
- Support the sales process by collaborating on new opportunities, RFP responses, and propositional scoping.
- Work with sales and strategic teams to develop future sales strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Support the delivery of the propositional roadmap, ensuring the introduction of new products that keep FNZ market-leading.
- Collaborate with customers to shape their future propositions and strategic roadmaps.
- Conduct market research to identify key trends.
- Enhance delivery efficiency by promoting adoption of existing solutions that meet business needs.
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and societies.
- Prepare forecasts, reports, and analysis to inform management decisions.
- Contribute to the training and knowledge sharing within the FNZ solution consulting and analyst teams.
- Ensure expertise in FNZ propositions, products, and market channels, keeping knowledge current.
Experience Required
- Extensive experience in wealth management and related markets.
- Deep knowledge of FNZ propositions, products, and regional market channels.
- Experience working within a regulatory environment relevant to the region.
- Background in delivery or consulting within financial services or wealth markets.
- Degree qualification with a 2:1 or higher, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to foster continuous improvement and capability development.
- Experience in finance, IT, or project management is desirable but not essential.
- Confidence and initiative in client and delivery-focused settings.
- Independent, self-directed, and results-oriented working style.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
