Job description

We are seeking a Proposition & Innovation Specialist to join the Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) team in our London office.

Please note this is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

MMB’s Proposition and Innovation team develops innovative products, solutions, and partnerships to address workplace and societal challenges and opportunities. The team’s impact covers the full spectrum of employee benefits, from healthcare and risk solutions to lifestyle and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assessing the viability of new propositions using insights from internal and external sources.
  2. Leading or supporting proposition and partnership development.
  3. Collaborating with stakeholders to take propositions and partnerships from concept to launch.
  4. Managing and growing provider and partner relationships post-launch.
  5. Working with internal teams such as sales, consulting, and enablement, as well as provider partners, to maximize outreach to client-facing and support teams.
  6. Driving innovation, diversification, and profitable growth.

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience managing provider, partner, or client relationships.
  • Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in group protection, insurance, or employee benefits.
  • Willingness to learn, be flexible, and challenge constructively.
