We have an exciting and brand new role within our Commercial and Propositions team as a Proposition Governance Lead, to support the Retail Proposition teams with Product and Proposition activities.
Reporting into the Head of Governance & Technical, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive great outcomes. You will work closely with propositional owners on new developments and act as a champion for the Retail governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product lead and development teams for a new product launch to ensure Governance practices are understood and adhered to.
- Maintain and lead the evolution of our Proposition Development Procedure and our Proposition Governance Procedure.
- Evaluate data from Retail governance committees and identify trends that could impact customer outcomes, leading the documentation of resolutions.
- Provide required reporting to internal committees within specified timescales and own governance actions thereafter.
- Lead Governance and Oversight activities across Retail propositions.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Retail and the wider Just business units, acting as a champion for Retail Governance processes.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working within a governance or technical team in the pensions or wider retirement market.
- Experience of implementing/embedding Consumer Duty or other Governance activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Consumer Duty and regulatory requirements for manufacturers of insurance, lending, and investment products.
- Able to understand and interpret regulations and rules applicable to product manufacturers.
- Ability to summarise complex subjects for varying audiences.
- Able to engage and manage relationships with stakeholders, including senior management.
- Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Experience or wider working knowledge within Technical roles for investment products such as ISAs or GIA’s is advantageous.
