About the role
At Boots, we want to ensure that our offerings remain relevant, appealing and competitive in a fast-changing retail landscape. This role(s) will at the forefront in ensuring the delivery of new propositions across the Beauty and General Merchandising in both a timely and engaging manner. Previously roles in this area have been responsible for the delivery of the Beauty Only store at Battersea, driven the development of the Skincare of the Future proposition while currently leading the implementation Fragrance executions across the estate.
As a Proposition Development Manager at Boots UK, you'll play a key role in the development, implementation, and delivery of customer propositions across various categories. You'll be responsible for driving innovative and compelling value propositions that meet the needs of our customers, align with our business goals, and help differentiate Boots UK in the competitive retail landscape. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, commercial, and customer insight, to develop strategies that enhance the Boots customer experience.
Proposition Development - Lead the development and evolution of customer propositions across categories within the General Merchandise and Beauty Business Units, ensuring alignment with Boots' business strategy and customer needs.
Market & Customer Insight - Using-depth customer research and competitor analysis to understand market trends, customer preferences, and identify opportunities for proposition innovation and improvement.
Collaboration - Work closely with key internal stakeholders, such as Marketing, Merchandising, Product teams, and Operations, to ensure propositions are commercially viable, customer-centric, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Strategic Planning - Develop clear, actionable plans to launch and enhance customer propositions, ensuring consistency across all in-store touchpoints.
Business Performance Monitoring - Analyse the performance of propositions post-launch, making adjustments as necessary to drive KPIs such as customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
