About The Role

We’re looking to hire a Proposition Analyst based in our Hitchin office on a permanent basis.

As a Proposition Analyst at LV= you will support the Senior Investment Proposition Manager in developing, enhancing and maintaining LV=’s investment propositions including our Smoothed Managed Funds range and pension investments. This role helps ensure our propositions remain aligned to adviser and customer needs, deliver long-term value, and support LV=’s strategic ambitions in the savings and retirement market. The role combines strong investment understanding with a future-facing, customer-centric mindset. It involves turning insight into action – helping shape the roadmap of our proposition and collaborating with colleagues to implement enhancements across products, communications, and tools.

About the role:

  • Contribute effective risk and governance oversight of both open and closed wealth propositions, with a focus on underlying collective funds. To include systematically collating and analysing data, to allow objective assessment of proposition performance and suitability across the end-to-end value chain.
  • Provide analysis and insights that helps support the effective development and delivery of the Wealth proposition strategy and transformation roadmap for the investment proposition, including the need for new initiatives and enhancement of existing offerings.
  • Support or lead specific and agreed proposition change initiatives through to implementation, working collaboratively across functional teams
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the proposition and associated target markets and distribution channels, and as a key subject matter expert, to provide product related technical input to sales, marketing and customer experience as required
  • As an effective proposition champion, able to convey the value of the propositions internally and externally through, for example, development of formal documentation and digital content and supporting the Proposition Manager with producing professional presentations (including competitor analysis).
  • Support the effective management of third party relationships
  • Consistently demonstrate a strong customer and risk culture evidenced through natural adherence to the expected control framework, supporting regular proposition reviews, timely renewal of product documentation, product risk assessments and resolution of audit actions and risk events.

About you:

  • Demonstrable good awareness of the Savings and Retirement Market – developing a depth of technical expertise of relevant products, markets, systems and processes of the specific proposition(s) allocated
  • Self-learner – a desire and ability to constantly expand and deepen knowledge.
  • Be highly numerate, comfortable working with numbers and curious about the trends and insights these reveal - you will need to be able to evaluate data to see the patterns and make recommendations.
  • Effective communication and persuasion skills - to enable presentation and resolution of complex technical issues with line management, sometimes with support from colleagues as experience is developing.
  • Good influencer and relationship builder – able to work across organisations collaboratively.
  • Detail focus - Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Self-motivated - and be able to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible – willing to work as part of a team, sometimes lead initiatives and open to taking on new opportunities
  • Understanding of regulatory framework - within which business and products must operate, including FCA rules & regulations.
