Job summary

Omega is seeking a Proposals & Project Engineer to join our Swindon team. You will manage technical sales proposals and support project delivery on high-end turnkey solutions for key markets in the UK.

Responsibilities include defining customer requirements, developing project objectives, assisting the Project Manager with integrated layouts in 2D CAD, and monitoring schedules and designs to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or HNC Educated within Technical / STEM background (Mechanical Engineering preferable)
• Proifeincy in 2D CAD software and some SOLIDWORKS preferable

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the scoping and definition of turnkey solutions, ensuring customer requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and conferring with management.
• Assist and support the Project Manager in developing integrated system layouts using 2D CAD.
• Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, and schedule changes, and recommending actions.
