Our client is seeking a confident, detail-driven Proposals Manager to lead on bid coordination, client engagement, and business growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys producing high-quality proposals and building strong client relationships without the pressure of cold calling or hard sales.

Their ideal candidate will be organised, detail-focused, and confident working across different teams. Experience within proposals, bids or tenders is ideal, with a strong business acumen and good attention to details. Experience in a technical or engineering setting is advantageous, though candidates with a relatable background will be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of high-quality bids, tenders, and proposals
  • Use platforms such as SAP to oversee tender submissions
  • Collaborate with technical teams to shape compelling project scopes
  • Take ownership of incoming enquiries and ensure timely proposal delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Represent the company at networking events, webinars, and industry meetups
  • Edit and polish documents to ensure professional and persuasive presentation
  • Support marketing efforts including social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)

Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing proposals, bids and/or tenders
  • Previous experience in a business support or administrative role, ideally in a technical or engineering setting
  • Ability to build relationships with key clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Confident editing and reviewing technical documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
