Proposals Lead Engineer – Water Sector

Kent (Hybrid Working) | Permanent | £55,000 – £70,000

Are you a strategic thinker with a background in engineering and a passion for infrastructure? Our client is looking for a Proposals Lead Engineer to join their expert team in the water industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in multidisciplinary design and build (D&B) projects to take a lead role on high-profile work. You'll work closely with construction and design teams, shaping proposals that have a real impact.

What You’ll Do

1. Coordinate constructability input with delivery partners
2. Plan and allocate resources with regional construction leads
3. Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality metrics
4. Uphold best-in-class Health & Safety practices
5. Engage with stakeholders around design, permits, and planning

What You’ll Need

1. Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (plus vocational training)
2. Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Agent
3. Knowledge of civils and MEICA within D&B projects
4. Contract law knowledge and construction expertise
5. Strong leadership and stakeholder skills
6. Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera, and document systems
7. Valid CSCS card + H&S/Environmental training
