Job summary
Industrial Technology Systems Ltd is seeking an Applications Engineer/Proposals Specialist to create detailed technical solutions from PLC and SCADA systems to turnkey projects. You will collaborate with customers and sales to capture requirements and develop high-quality proposals with accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications
- Engineering, automation, or systems integration background.
- Experience producing technical proposals for PLC/SCADA.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Excellent written communication.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Produce technical proposals for PLC and SCADA systems, upgrades, training, SLAs, digital solutions, MIS, and turnkey projects.
- Develop engineering concepts and estimate proposed solutions.
- Prepare detailed quotations, tenders, and supporting documentation.
- Create quotation cost spreadsheets for hardware, software and engineering.
- Collaborate with customers and sales to understand requirements.
- Obtain supplier pricing and liaise with engineering for timescales and resources.
- Support approvals with Project Managers and leadership.
- Travel to customer sites for technical visits.
- Respond to customer requirements and maintain relationships.
- Develop practical, commercially viable solutions meeting client needs.
