Proposals Engineer

Location: Based in our office in Birmingham / Hybrid Working

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours a week

You will be part of the pre-construction team as a Proposals Engineer ensuring our customers get the very best solutions utilising our experience from around the World.

You will be challenged to produce excellent proposals and accurate cost plans, but supported throughout.

You will work with your line manager to produce a bespoke training programme to ensure that you are best equipped and confident to carry out the role and progress.

Your Role

• You will own the proposal document and costing document, and lead the internal coordination to bring in members of the team to contribute

• Engage with and build relationships with our supply chain to request quotes and understand what is being offered

• Work along the allocated Sales Lead to ensure that your work meets the customers needs

• You will need to be happy to have multiple proposals running simultaneously

• Engage with our Veolia colleagues across the World to bring best practice and expertise into your proposal

• Attend site visits with the Sales Lead to discuss our solutions being proposed

• Ensure accuracy and customer focus is at the centre of everything you do
