Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in Bangor, Wales, seeks an experienced Proposal Writer to join the UK Procurement team in our Bangor office. You will craft concise, credible proposals, gather and format content, proofread, and obtain approvals to deliver competitive bids that drive revenue growth.

You will collaborate with Sales, manage content templates, and maintain schedules to ensure timely submission of proposals while upholding high standards of quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, or a related field is required; experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High attention to quality, detail, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and content approval to meet deadlines.
• Collaborates with Sales to produce written Statements of Work proposals for clients.
• Organizes multi-stage draft reviews of sales proposals and gathers feedback.
• Revises content based on management feedback.
• Proofreads content for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and clarity.
• Maintains schedule and task ownership to ensure timely proposals.
• Tracks proposals and updates status in progress.

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our Procurement team in the UK office in Bangor North Wales.

What You Will Accomplish Here...

You will have an opportunity to leverage your unique skills as a detailed, persuasive writer to produce concise, informative and credible sales proposals that differentiate our organization from our competitors and ultimately help our Company drive revenue growth. Your main responsibility will be gathering and formatting information, proofreading, editing, and obtaining approved content to deliver proposals and competitive bids (RFP's).

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Prioritizes target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval of content to meet deadlines.
• Collaborates with the Sales Department to produce written Statements of Work proposals to be delivered to the client
• Organizes multi-stage draft reviews of sales proposals, based on feedback.
• Revises content based on feedback from management.
• Proofreads content for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and clarity.
• Supports the proposal process by creating a list of tasks, assigning ownership of responsibilities, and maintaining and overall schedule to help ensure proposals are finalized on time to meet appropriate deadlines.
• Tracks the queue of incoming proposals and updates the status of proposals in progress.
• Processes signed proposals by updating internal department records.
• Coordinates proposal content by reviewing requests for proposals (RFP's) and attending strategy meetings.
• Performs compliance reviews of proposals and response content based on client's solicitation instructions.
• Research industry information, as needed.
• Proposes new, creative ideas to develop competitive bid response materials.
• Develops templates for commonly proposed services, as assigned.
• Follows and maintains procedures for RFP development
• Develops efficient processes for preparing and releasing regular content deliverables.
• Maintains quality results by using templates and following proposal writing standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Skills, And Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, or a related field is required; Experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
