RSM UK is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead and coordinate strategically important proposals, bids and presentations. You will work closely with partners, directors and subject matter experts to drive opportunity win strategies and governance throughout the proposal lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on content development and the ability to coach stakeholders to improve proposal quality and competitiveness in a fast-growing professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex bids, proposals and pursuits in professional services or similar B2B environment.
• Strong proposal management expertise including planning, governance and content development.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills for client-facing content.

We are looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to lead and coordinate strategically important proposals, bids and presentations. Combining proposal management, hands-on content development, stakeholder engagement and coaching, you will help opportunity teams create high-quality, client-focused and commercially compelling submissions.

Working closely with partners, directors and subject matter experts, you will lead opportunity win strategies and proposal development while ensuring effective governance, collaboration and delivery throughout the proposal lifecycle.

This is an opportunity for a proposal professional who can both manage complex proposal activity and personally write, edit and strengthen content, while coaching stakeholders and constructively challenging teams to improve proposal quality and competitiveness.

You’ll make an impact by

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex proposals, tenders and strategic opportunities, coordinating resources, governance and submission activities to achieve successful outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional proposal teams including partners, directors, subject matter experts, marketing, creative, finance, legal, risk and delivery teams.
• Take ownership of proposal production, using the tender requirements to build a clear response matrix or proposal outline that ensures all questions, evaluation criteria, mandatory requirements and win themes are fully addressed in a compliant and compelling response.
• Personally develop, write and edit proposal content where required, translating technical, commercial and operational information into persuasive, client-focused responses, ensuring one coherent voice.

What we are looking for

• Significant experience managing complex bids, proposals and pursuits within a professional services, consultancy or similarly complex B2B environment.
• Strong proposal management expertise, including planning, stakeholder management, content development and governance.
• Excellent proposal writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive client-facing content.
• Demonstrable ability to lead opportunity strategy development and translate complex solutions into compelling client-focused proposals.
